Spotlight on The Meek Boutique

Lynne Meek of The Meek Boutique is a personal stylist and influencer based in Kent and is no stranger to being in front of the camera!  She has a very large social media following and models all the clothing she personally hand-picks from brands and wholesalers throughout Europe.  It was a great compliment to get a call from her asking me to take some imagery for her to use on her website and across her influential social channels.

The Brief

Lynne has worked with many photographers before and so was really clear from the get go about what she wanted.  And also what she didn’t want.  We knew the images needed to be warm and light, relfect her style and capture the honest nature of her character and clothing range.

The Challenge

Lynne’s boutique is perfectly formed – but on the small side for a photography studio!  Within a tight space with a low ceiling, I needed to set up my lights and use a wide enough lens to incorporate the room, showing off the products on display as well as the fashionable and soft, feminine touches Lynne has used to decorate the space.  

The Solution

Incorporating the fun, decorative lights within the space we were able to create some lovely images for Lynne.  We took a mixture of full length poses – highlighting various clothing lines – as well as some other useful ‘action’ shots of Lynne with her products.  I also grabbed the opportunity to play about with some more creative shots using some fairy lights white photographing some of the clothing lines.
