5 reasons why I’m NOT the right

Photographer For You

Choosing the right photographer is just as important as choosing the right location, outfit, and time for your photoshoot.  Every photographer has a unique style, approach, and philosophy when it comes to capturing moments. I want you to find the best match for your needs—so if any of the following points sound like what you’re looking for, it’s probable I’m not the right photographer for you!

  1. If You Want a Gallery of Formal, Posed Photos

While I will guide you into natural positions and help you feel at ease in front of the camera, I don’t specialize in stiff, overly posed shots. My focus is on authentic, candid moments that showcase genuine emotions and real connections. If you’re looking for traditional, posed portraits where everyone is standing perfectly still and smiling at the camera, my approach might not be what you’re after.

  1. If You Want Edgy, High-Contrast Photos

I love soft, natural light, warm tones, and a timeless editing style that enhances the beauty of the moment. If you’re drawn to bold, moody, or high-contrast photography with deep shadows and dramatic edits, my style may not align with your vision. There are many talented photographers who excel at that aesthetic, and I encourage you to find one who fits your preferences!

  1. If You Just Want the Digitals

I believe that photos deserve to be printed, displayed, and cherished—not just stored on a hard drive or social media. That’s why I offer beautiful, high-quality prints and professional wall art options that will last for generations. While I do provide digital images, my heart is in creating tangible keepsakes that you can hold, frame, and share with loved ones.

“Georgina did a family photo shoot for us and I couldn’t rate her highly enough. She put our two children at ease (which is a pretty hard task in itself!) and made them laugh, creating some beautiful memories. Thank you so much for the gorgeous photos 💕”

  1. If You Want a Super Speedy, ‘Get the Job Done’ Photoshoot

If you’re looking for a quick, in-and-out session with minimal interaction, I might not be the best fit. I take the time to create a relaxed atmosphere, allowing natural moments to unfold. My sessions are about more than just taking photos—they’re about creating an experience where you feel comfortable and enjoy the process.

  1. If You’re Not Open to a Little Fun and Spontaneity

I encourage laughter, movement, and interaction during my shoots. Whether it’s dancing in the golden hour light, playing with your kids, or sharing a quiet, intimate moment with your partner, I strive to capture the beauty of real life. If you’re looking for a rigid, structured session with no room for creativity or spontaneity, we might not be the right match.

Finding the Right Photographer for You

Photography is a deeply personal experience, and I want you to find the photographer who aligns with your vision and expectations. If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to chat about creating some beautiful memories together.

But if you’re looking for something different, I completely understand that, and I hope you find the perfect photographer to bring your vision to life!

Who Is Your Family Photographer?

Hi, I’m Georgina.

I have a genuine passion for photographing people.  I pride myself in putting people at ease in front of the camera and making each and every photoshoot as much fun as possible.

When clients arrive for their shoot, they are often a bit apprehensive or nervous – especially about whether the children will behave!  But by the end of their session, they are telling me how much fun it was and how much the children enjoyed it all.

“Our family photo shoot with Georgina was such fun. All the kids and animals engaged and enjoyed it ..and we now have gorgeous photos to get up on the wall! The process was a joy from start to end!“
