Newborn Session Information - Georgina Edwards Photography
Georgina Edwards Photography - Family Photographer in Tunbridge Wells

When to book?

The best time to photograph your newborn baby is when they are around 5-14 days old.  During this time, babies are (hopefully!) still very sleepy and easy to settle.

Once you've been given your due date, do get in touch and we can tentatively book in a date.  When your baby has arrived, drop me an email so we can finalise the date and time of your session

However, if your baby is already here, please don't hesitate to give me a call or drop me an email to see if I can fit you in.

I am happy to take bookings for newborns up to around 6 weeks old.  Please do get in contact for more information!

What to expect?

I want your newborn photo session to be a really happy and relaxed experience at such an exciting, but often, exhausting time in your life!  To make things as easy as possible, I bring everything to you in your home, so you don't need to worry about rushing out of the house to keep an appointment.  I have a selection of wraps, outfits and hats as well as blankets and backdrops so we can create beautiful images for you to cherish.  Newborn photography sessions take up to 4 hours allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, soothing and changing.

Viewing your gallery

Once your session is complete, your images can take up to 3 weeks to process.  At a mutually convenient time, your password protected, online gallery will open for your one hour viewing appointment so you can choose from one of my three print packages.

Session fee - £99

The session fee, taken at the time of booking, includes my travel to and from your home, my expertise and equipment to design and light your session, up to a 4 hour photo session, as well as selecting and expertly hand editing your final portraits.

Once you have viewed your images, you are then able to choose from 3 newborn packages.
