01. What is brand photography?
Brand photography is all about creating a library of beautiful, intentional images that visually tell your brand’s story. It’s more than just a headshot — it’s your business personality captured through portraits, products, lifestyle scenes, and the little behind-the-scenes details that make your business unique.
02. How is brand photography different from a headshot photoshoot?
While headshot photography focuses on a single element, brand photography looks at the whole picture — your personality, your values, your audience, and your message. It’s designed to help your business look cohesive and professional across all your marketing platforms.
03. Who is brand photography for?
Brand photography is for anyone who wants to elevate their visual presence — from small business owners and creative entrepreneurs, to larger corporate teams. Whether you’re a solo founder or part of a growing company, great imagery helps you stand out and connect authentically with your audience.
04. What can I use my brand photos for?
Your brand photos are perfect for websites, social media, press releases, email newsletters, brochures, presentations — basically anywhere you want to show off your brand at its best.
05. How do I know if I’m ready for a brand photoshoot?
If you’re updating your website, launching a new offer, refreshing your social media, or simply want to look more professional online — you’re ready. We’ll chat through your goals and make sure the session aligns with where your business is heading.
06. How far in advance should I book my session?
I usually recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks ahead so we have time to plan properly — especially if you need location permissions or want to include a team.
07. What’s included in your brand photography packages?
Every package includes a pre-shoot consultation, planning support (shot list, clothing consideration etc), your photography session, and a beautifully edited collection of high-resolution images ready to use. Depending on your needs, sessions can include multiple setups and locations, headshots and teamshots.
08. Can you help me decide which package is right for me?
Absolutely. Once we chat about your goals and how you plan to use your images, I’ll recommend the best option for your needs and budget.
09. How long does a brand photoshoot typically last?
Generally, brand photoshoot sessions are around 4-5 hours for a half day – or I do offer a smaller 90 minute session for solopreneurs.
10. Can we shoot at more than one location during a brand photoshoot?
Of course — variety is key for a strong brand gallery. Depending on what you need, locations for brand shoots we can be as simple as your office or workspace. But if you need to visit a workshop, cafe, garage, outdoor space or anywhere else, let’s have a chat and sort out a schedule for your shoot.
11. Do you help with planning the shoot?
Yes — that’s one of my favourite parts! We’ll chat about your brand colours, audience, and content needs, then create a shot list to keep everything aligned on the day.
12. What should I wear for my brand photoshoot?
I have a comprehensive preparation guide that I send out to my clients ahead of their brand shoots. And during our pre-shoot consultation we’ll talk through the kind of look and style you are after which will help to focus your mind.
13. Do you recommend having my hair and makeup done professionally?
It is COMPLETELY up to you. But, I always say that if you are investing in a brand photoshoot, you want to present the most polished version of yourself to the world, so YES! If you can. Not only does a bit of professional styling helps you look but it will also help you feel your best.

16. Do you help with posing and direction on the day?
Oh my goodness, yes! This is one of the most difficult parts of being in front of the camera! So please don’t worry! You’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands! I’ll guide you naturally throughout, so you look relaxed, confident, and completely yourself.
